We are continuing our program to work together within the local community in order to promote awareness of complementary therapies and its benefits to your physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health and well being.

We have already worked with Lewisham College, Carers Lewisham and Holy Trinity School. We have also offered therapy treatments through raffle prizes to help raise money for FSID (Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths), the British Red Cross Haiti Disaster Fund and Brent Knoll School. Partnerships

Carers Lewisham

Carers Lewisham supports anyone in the London Borough of Lewisham who, unpaid, looks after a mentally or physically ill or disabled relative or friend. They support carers young and old with a range of services including advice, information, emotional support, breaks, opportunities to meet other carers, time out from caring activities such as relaxation days and well being sessions; coping strategies, specialist support for parent carers, carer of people with dementia, carers of people with mental health problems, older carers and carers who are caring for someone who is nearing the end of their life. They currently support over 5000 carers over 500 of whom are children.

MindBody Therapy are proud to be working in partnership with Carers Lewisham to provide therapy services to the carers as well as the cared for, offering respite for both parties at the centre in Forest Hill and sometimes visiting the home when needed.

TransmissionUK CIC

The MindBody Therapy Group are the main service providers for TransmissionUK. This partnership enables us to be able to provide a low cost clinic i.e. free and/or partially funded complementary health care to those in the community suffering with long-term conditions and/or disabilities with no exception of age.

It is the intention of The MindBody Therapy Group and all its fully qualified and insured therapists, to use their skills to reach the lives of people with disabilities, life-threatening conditions and long-term conditions, as well as those in less threatening circumstances. This partnership is a great step forward in the fulfilment of this intention and both parties look forward to continuing a long and successful relationship.

National Childbirth Trust (NCT)

We have run Mother & Baby sessions from November 2009 onwards and as such have built up close links with our local Forest Hill rep. She was very helpful with the initial set up of the sessions and also in the introduction of how much support the NCT charity offers to parents. We hope you find the site useful in your local area. We also offer free therapy tasters in some of the local meetings to mothers and babies, so don't miss out! Diane makes and sells beautiful home made soaps, so do take a peek! All soaps are handcrafted in small batches ranging from 1 kilogramme up to 5 kilogrammes.
