Working in the Community

We are continuing our program to work together within the local community in order to promote awareness of complementary therapies and its benefits to your physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health and well being.

 

We have already worked with Lewisham College, Carers Lewisham and Holy Trinity School. We have also offered therapy treatments through raffle prizes to help raise money for FSID (Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths), the British Red Cross Haiti Disaster Fund and Brent Knoll School. We hope to continue this work throughout the year.

 

 

TransmissionUK

The MindBody Therapy Group are the therapy arm of TransmissionUK. This partnership enables us to be able to provide a low cost clinic i.e. free and/or partially funded complementary health care to those in the community suffering with long-term conditions and/or disabilities with no exception of age.

 

It is the intention of The MindBody Therapy Group and all its fully qualified and insured therapists, to use their skills to reach the lives of people with disabilities, life-threatening conditions and long-term conditions, as well as those in less threatening circumstances. This partnership is a great step forward in the fulfilment of this intention and both parties look forward to continuing a long and successful relationship.

National Childbirth Trust (NCT)

We have run Mother & Baby sessions from November 2009 onwards and as such have built up close links with our local Forest Hill rep Jane. She was very helpful with the initial set up of the sessions and also in the introduction of how much support the NCT charity offers to parents. The Body Cleansing & Rejuvenating Clinic

This centre in Streatham SW16, is owned and run by Jean Clarke, LCSP DHD RCT MCIA, a wonderfully warm and widely knowledgeable, qualified and educated lady. She has been running this clinic for over 20 years, where they provide Colonic Hydrotherapy, Nutritional Advice, Bioresonance, Detoxification and Rejuvenation, Herbs and Supplements and Allergy & Mercury Toxicity Testing.

The Equilibrium Centre

This centre, in Basingstoke, Hampshire was opened over 4 years ago by Helen Fogg, a local hypnotherapist; it is in a great place within a magical setting. As quoted, it is:

The MindBody Therapy Centre is located downstairs within the club where fitness meets complementary health. The fitness club has a great team of people working with them and we know that Andrew and David our proud of how their venture has developed.
